Summer of 2018 ( May 20th ) a question was asked via Facebook post by Monetia Moore Hollie about an idea for giving back to our beloved Central High School. The feedback was very positive and many were eager to help. With support behind her plans were quickly establish and individuals were given tasks to complete to help things move along quickly as we wanted to have things up and running by the opening day of the 2018 school year. At the time neither of us knew what we have actually taken on but being a product of CHS we were prepared to tackle this task and all of its obstacles.

As the first day of school approached the GoFundme and Website were live and awaited it first visitor. We advertised via Facebook and other media outlets to get the word out.

The response was great.
We knew that this being our first year it would start off slow and that we may or may not reach our goal of $5,000. But that didn’t deter us from pushing forward.
By the time we reach our deadline in December we had managed to collect $1,750 in donations. Far from our goal but the fact that we would be able do what we were inspired & motivated to do was uplifting.

On May 3, 2019 Kevil Tice had the pleasure of presenting our Falcon Elite Scholarship to a deserving recipient.
