The Excellence in Perseverance Award recognizes a Central High School Senior, who has exhibited perseverance, dedication and persistence to achieve high school graduation. The Excellence in Perseverance Award is available to support the next level of education as selected by the awardee to include college/university or trade school entrance. The senior must possess the following:

1. 2.8 GPA 
2. An ACT score of 18 or higher OR enrollment in a community college
3. 2 Letters of Recommendation (Teacher, School Administration or Community Leader)

Essay Topic (500 Word Limit): What life experiences have shaped who you are today and what challenges have you overcome in achieving success in your journey for education or personal growth.

Open to a Central High School senior who exemplifies excellence in leadership within their school and community. One who has an active leadership role that impacts the culture of CHS and the community. The senior must possess the following:

1. 3.0 GPA or better
2. An ACT score of 18 or higher OR enrollment in a community college
3. 2 Letters of Recommendation (Teacher, School Administration or Community Leader)

Essay Topic (750 Word Limit): Share how you have demonstrated responsible leadership within your school and community. Be sure to include how your leadership made an impact to others and what you learned about yourself in the process.
